Paddle Company What do I need to know to cut my own Greek paddle?
I design decorative Greek paddles. I'm looking for an alternative to purchasing the blank paddles from my wholesaler. I've found local companies that provide "custom millwork" but I'm curious to see if I could do the production myself.
The paddles are lightweight and generally measure 24inches long by 6 inches wide. The shapes vary slightly but are not very intricate. What is the most cost effective way to cut my own paddles? wood type? tools? etc...
Paddle Black What Does A Dream With a Black Lake And A Boat Mean?
i had a dream that i dived into this giant black lake from on top of this canyon like 300 feet down and then i landed in the water and my head hurt and i was like getting all delusional and dizzy and i was like going unconscious or something and then i saw some guy like a mile away that looked like a lifeguard and yelled at me to get in the boat, and there was a paddle boat thing in the water, like one of those little boats that are for recreation and have pedals and two seats and you kind of make it move by pushing the pedals like a bike. anyways then i climbed on it and i dont remember what else, oh ye and there was also a giant diving board in the lake that iw as planning on climbing up and divingdown again but i didnt cause i was hurt so i dont know what this dream means
It means to think about what you are doing before you just go blind sided and jumping into something. The dream is saying that you keep getting into the same rut, because you are not using your head to think about something befroe you do it. If you start thinking and preplanning your life will go so much better and easier.
How do I tell the difference between baby frogs and baby toads and what species they are?
We recently found little black tadpoles in a small pond near our house. We took some home and they all pretty much have their legs except one. My husband thought that they were tree frogs and when they started not caring for the water anymore except for quick dips we thought that he was right. Now they are turning a brown color with black spots which he says is not what tree frogs look like. They do climb the sides of the terrarium with no problem and they don't like the water that much, (they just kind of doggy paddle or float on the top with their legs spread), but he thinks they look more like toads. Anybody have an idea of what they may be?
By the way, we captured them because the man made pond was being filled to make more land on a property by us. Also I know that toads have bumpier dry skin but it is hard to tall because they are so tiny.
frogs are smooth and shiny and toads are dry and bumpy. just look up frogs or toads or call your local university's science department and ask what kind they are
Blade Paddle wich type of window fan costs a lot to operate??
I have two window fans wich I use. One is a thin breeze 20" box with three speeds, and an older style 22 inch window fan with the big metal paddle style blades, and reversable speeds. wich of the two wou not eat a lot of power on LOW speeds?
Would both be the same at low speed??
You can check the rating like stated in other answer. Logic tells me the newer lighter fan will have the smaller motor. The older fans with the metal blades required more power due to the weight of the blades. When the blades changed to plastic a lighter motor rating was enough to get the same volume of air movement. With time motors, even with the same HP ratings, have became more efficient.
