Rabbit Showing,Tattooing, and Breeding?
I am Getting into showing Californian rabbits so here are some of the questions i have.
1. What is the breed standard for this breed for this year.
2.I am looking for a tattoo kit which is best clamp style or tattoo pen.
3.Breeding what is an average litter they have.
4.Any details on how rabbit shows go would be great
5.Tattoo a rabbit? is the a good way to make the ink last longer.
6.Kits when to start handling them
7.Best time to wean them away from mother.
Please do not answer if you don't know what you are talking about, also please do not post saying about tattoo IN ORDER TO SHOW A RABBIT IT NEEDS A TATTOO IT IS NOT INHUMANE.
I will give the best answer 10 points and please respond with a very detail answer.
1. For the current standard, I recommend you pick up a copy of the current Standard of Perfection. It's only $16 from ARBA, and it's full of useful information besides the breed standard: http://www.fortune3.com/ARBA2007/Products_Publications.html
2. We really prefer tattoo pens. You have more control, more options, and IMO it's less painful. The downsides are that it does take longer, and if you have bad handwriting like I do your tattoos don't always come out so great!
3. Bigger rabbits have bigger litters. For a Cal I would guess 8-10 is average.
4. Long and loud. Here are a few good links to get you started. http://www.zodiacsatins.com/Rabbit_Show_Checklist.pdf

5. Make sure your ink isn't old. We use India Ink, usually, and it works well. If you're using a tattoo pen you can go over the same line two or three times to make sure it's very visible. Don't wipe the ink out immediately, wait a day or two.
6. I start handling mine on day one. After your doe kindles you'll need to check the kits to make sure they're healthy, and make sure there are no dead ones hidden in the nestbox.
7. By 4 weeks the kits are getting most of their nutrition from pellets and if they are doing well otherwise, can be weaned at that age. Most show breeders I know prefer to leave the kits with mom longer, 6 to 8 weeks.
Good luck!

Cosplay Dress I NEED HELP
Okay, so i wanted to make a dress based on the character Chii from Chobits. From the pictures i posted, which ones would be more fun to make? I don't care about the difficulty, i can do mostly anything. ^^; Thank you so much for whoever helps me. I really appreciate it! ![]()
I also need to know if any one has tutorials on how to do ANY of these 'styles' of dresses. My favourite out of all of the pics i provided is the last one with the purple flowers.

Thank yuu~ <3
They all look fun to make, so I would go with the last one since that's the one you feel most strongly about already. I agree that it is very pretty. I think adding all of the trim and finding some silk flowers to add to it would be great touches.
As for tutorials, what I usually do is go to my local fabric store and flip through the pattern books and then buy the pattern or patterns which have elements similar to the dress. (For instance, in this case you might have one pattern that has similar sleeves and one that has a similar dress. The sleeves don't look like they have to attach, they can probably be kept on your arms separately with elastic, while the dress is a strapless.) You would want to pay close attention to the dresses, nightgowns, and costumes sections.
The pattern makers do have some of their catalog online, but you have many more options when you flip through a book at a store.
