what is the success rate for angioplacty?
My dad had a pre-heart attack before around 20 hours. We took him to the emergency and his HR was above 200. The doctor used defibrillation (electric paddle) to get him back. He is currently hospitalized. They gave him too much mediciene and his HR and BP are somehow a little low right now. They said there is a blockage on the right part of his heart and they will CAT scan him today, but they didnt CAT scan him untill now. Doesnt the time delay worsen his situation? They are saying they are waiting for the cardiologist. plus he already had angiogram before one year and he didnt not have a bypass because his artery was only blocked 40%, but now it is probably more than that, so is it possible to have angioplacity again (twice within one year)? Pls tell me what we should expect, and how long this might take.

What are my chances of being attacked by a shark?
I made a bet with a friend which I lost, so tommow when we go out on the beach, I have to swim out of the sand in a straight line exactly 10 miles into the water, I cam swim, float, doggy paddle, use a donut floaty or swim on my back, as long as I go 10 miles, what are my chances of being attacked by a shark?
i hope they are good cause anyone going through w/ a bet for a 20 mile open ocean swim is lacking in the area of common sense. can't wait to see you nominated for a Darwin award

You mention seeing a Neurologist but have you seen a Cardiologist who can run tests to find out the cause of these attacks and possibly treat you with medication or a pacemaker. You have valium at home which does you no good, why didn't the Dr prescribe Ativan on a daily basis? You need a Cardiologist. Take your records and all the tests you've had done and find a Cardiologist. If your heart is beating that fast a Neurologist is the wrong Dr to see.
