How can I get in extremely good shape?

I want to be in really good shape and healthy. I already eat pretty good, but are there any special drinks? Is organic food good to eat? and what are some good affective workouts. websites would be awesome too. I just really have trouble getting motivated to do things.....haha

depends how "fit" you want to get.

Do you want to be sports-healthy fit,
or just regular healthy?

sounds like you are on a good track already, so try:
pure tea's- no "flavored" or "enhanced" teas, just pure natural herbal teas- it helps with everything.

working out- it takes commitment and hell, alot of willpower to stick to daily routines.
I do pilates 4 times a week, go bicycling an hour every other day, and walk for half an hour at least 3 times a week.

Also, in the mornings, running at least a mile will definately keep you in shape, along with other things.

hope this helps!

Good Shape - Take My Love (Regi Remix) @ TOTZ (3 september 2008)

Is it possible to get into fairly good shape with no equipment at home?

Is it possible for me to do work outs at home that will give me fairly good abs and arms? I do not expect any easy work outs, fast ones (abs in a week, etc) or for these alone to get me "chisled features". But I wouldn't mind to be in a bit better shape. I am not over weight, I am at about 14% body fat.

I'm trying to determine if by equipment you mean machines or everything ranging from dumbells and up. Commercials on TV portray that machines are needed to acquire a great looking and defined body. It is not true at all. If you get dumbells even just for the little extra weight. That will help. Do your situps, pushups, plenty of running. You could also try yoga as that has been very popular and effective. The most important thing is to stick to your schedule. At the beginning, it's easy to miss a few days and get far behind. It's dedication and motivation.

    Thank you for the link!

I recently got a good shapewear slip with built-in bra (bit like the Charnos one above) by a brand called Marilyn Monroe (I know, *vom*) at TK Maxx for a few quid. Really pleased with it. It doesn't have quite the power of the Spanx one but for a fraction of the price it's a good budget buy. TK Maxx is definitely worth a look.

But now you've got me wanting to search ebay for Cat on a Hot Tin Roof style pieces…so pretty!

I think the age of recruitment is ridiculous and discriminatory. If a person is in good shape and wants to serve their country at age 40, I think they should be allowed to.

In addition, if a person is in their fifties and is in good shape, they should be able to re-enlist if they so desire.

Your point is well taken. Tillman, my man, rest in peace.

Minor nitpick – Spain is playing Tunisia today, KSA is last up for a beating.

Interesting titbit – Holland will have at least one (Van Basten) and a reasonable chance of having 3 coaches in the 2nd round (both Hiddink with Australia and Advocaat with S.Korea look in pretty good shape – you'd expect one of them to make it).

Even Beenhacker's T&T still have a chance of going through (they'd have to beat Paraguay by 3 goals and hope Sweden lost to England (and preferably don't score).

What a mean, ignorant and judgemental thing to say. Shame on you. I hope you feel like a REAL winner! What's wrong with you?

Maggie has been on me for some time to do something about my weight (5'9″/197), I do work out 4 times per week, mostyly body exercises, but I've got this belly thing going(36″ waist). I'm 63, generally in good shape, but I know I need to concentrate more on my health. I like Rex's approach cocentrating on health gain to achieve weight loss. I'd like to learn more.

Just received the Japanese version of TOSOD and was so happy to hear NEBTD on the CD player. Ordered it through YesAsia and all arrived in good shape. It’s fun to see the Japanese writing of the lyrics, etc.
